How safe is your information?

  • To make sure the system is not exploited we have designed it in such a way that one can only look up one item at a time and only if one has the serial number at hand knowing which category the item belongs to
  • If your item is found on the system, then a warning is sent out to you telling you who looked up your item, but the searcher will only see the item as you have described it and your contact details are hidden from the searchers view.
  • Make sure you do not expose your private information when entering your item's descriptions
  • COL's database does not contain information other than what you put in there yourself.

What does Crime-On-Line do with your information

Crime-On-Line treats your information as strickly private, we do not share any details with others, nor do we sell access to our databases for others to exploit. However following may apply

  • Manufacturer of your item may send you a message if deemed necessary due to new product development or a hazardous default has been detected.
